Valet Attendant
About The Position
The Valet Attendant provides personal vehicle parking and retrieval services for parking guests while delivering exceptional customer service in a high-energy environment. The role maintains expected personal appearance standards and performs the maintenance and cleaning tasks needed to keep parking areas ready for patients and visitors. The position requires working in inclement weather and rotating between day and evening shifts. Some weekend work may be required for special events. The attendant must work independently within established guidelines, multitask, and follow directions.
Requirements
- Possess and maintain a valid, non-restricted driver’s license with a neutral or positive driver point balance.
- For continued employment, maintain a valid Virginia Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record with positive points.
- Be able to drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
- Possess reading and writing skills and be able to comprehend and communicate in English.
- Be able to work during inclement weather with day and evening rotations.
- Be able to work independently within established guidelines, multitask, and follow directions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous professional driving experience.
- Previous experience using a PC for inquiry and accurate data entry.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A second language.
