The UX/UI Engineer designs and delivers intuitive, accessible, and visually consistent digital experiences that support business objectives and improve customer and employee experiences. The role combines user experience research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and front-end collaboration to create scalable, user-centered applications. Working with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Quality, and business stakeholders, the engineer turns complex workflows and user needs into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and implementation-ready interface specifications. The role helps ensure digital products are usable, responsive, accessible, and aligned with the corporate design system and enterprise design standards. The UX/UI Engineer develops information architectures, navigation models, content hierarchies, user flows, and interaction patterns; creates sketches, wireframes, clickable prototypes, and high-fidelity designs; and designs workflows for data-intensive, transaction-oriented, and role-based enterprise applications. Concepts are validated through iterative testing, with feedback incorporated into design decisions. The role documents edge cases, empty states, validations, error handling, and responsive behavior. The position designs modern responsive interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile, applying visual hierarchy, typography, color, spacing, iconography, and interaction feedback consistently. It produces mockups and prototypes using Figma and related tools, and may develop illustrations, visual assets, and supporting content. The engineer provides design specifications, interaction notes, assets, and handoff materials; collaborates with software engineers on technical feasibility, responsive behavior, component usage, React implementation, and other front-end decisions; and reviews implemented features for alignment with approved designs and expected behavior. The role also facilitates workshops, discovery sessions, ideation, and solution reviews; presents research, design rationale, prototypes, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences; collaborates with Product Management on experience requirements, acceptance criteria, and priorities; and maintains design documentation and decision history. The position participates in Agile discovery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, design reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
