UI/UX Engineer
About The Position
TEKsystems is seeking a creative, adaptable UX/UI professional to design and build intuitive, modern experiences for AI-driven products. The role combines UX design with hands-on Angular development, requiring the ability to move quickly from concept to prototype and functional product. The ideal candidate is comfortable with ambiguity and changing product direction, and brings a fast-paced, startup-like approach while working within a large enterprise. The position involves translating complex requirements and user needs into intuitive workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished digital experiences; building responsive Angular applications; and creating design systems and reusable UI components. The engineer will collaborate with product managers, engineers, AI teams, and business stakeholders, rapidly incorporate feedback, and explore new interaction models. This is a contract position based in Atlanta, Georgia, with a hybrid workplace arrangement. The pay range is $60.00–$80.00 per hour. Requirements
- Strong experience in UX design, including translating complex requirements and user needs into intuitive workflows and digital experiences.
- Hands-on Angular development experience.
- Understanding of modern front-end development using TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience building design systems, reusable UI components, and patterns.
- Ability to rapidly prototype, incorporate feedback, and adjust direction.
- Strong creative problem-solving skills and comfort exploring new interaction models.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and changing requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a large organization with a fast-paced, hands-on approach.
- Strong collaboration skills with product, engineering, AI, and business stakeholders.
Nice To Haves
- Portfolio demonstrating strong UX/UI design combined with hands-on front-end development.
- Experience with AI-driven, generative AI, conversational, or emerging technology products or interfaces.
- Strong prototyping skills, ideally using Figma.
- Understanding of responsive design and accessibility.
- Experience in agile, rapidly changing product environments.
Responsibilities
