About The Position

The Utility Foreman oversees wet utility work at job sites, including excavation and installation activities for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems. The role manages quality control and production, maintains equipment, and trains team members through hands-on instruction. Work is scheduled Monday through Friday. Requirements

At least 1 year of wet utility experience.
Ability to communicate directly with clients.
Ability to operate large excavators with precision.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Ability to access secured facilities.
High attention to detail.
Physical fitness to perform job duties in varied environments and conditions, including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds.
Ability to sit, stand, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and communicate and listen verbally.
Ability to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, or crawl.
Distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Excavate trenches for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer.
Install trench boxes as necessary.
Operate equipment in compliance with company safety policies and OSHA procedures.
Ensure proper excavation and compaction procedures are performed.
Perform daily equipment inspections and grease equipment at required intervals to maintain it.
Demonstrate working knowledge of underground utilities.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required to complete the job.
Manage quality control and production.
Train team members as needed in a hands-on manner.
