About The Position

RemotelyHR is hiring on behalf of Alta Contracting for an Underground Wet Utilities Foreman to oversee field operations and ensure utility projects are delivered safely and to a high standard. The role leads the wet utilities crew and manages project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budgets for water, sewer, and storm drainage systems. The Foreman also enforces safety protocols, inspects work quality, coordinates equipment maintenance and procurement, maintains project documentation, and resolves operational bottlenecks. The position involves outdoor work in varying weather, manual labor, and physical activity in environments with moderate to loud noise levels.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in underground wet utilities construction.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
• Understanding of construction best practices and safety regulations, including OSHA.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions and in moderate to loud noise levels.
