About The Position

The Laborer supports construction crews by performing manual labor and assisting with the installation of underground utilities. The role involves working outdoors and may include exposure to extreme weather conditions. Physical duties include repeated lifting (including overhead, up to 50 lbs.), standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, crouching, and crawling. Requirements

• Follow instructions accurately and consistently.
• Have quick and precise hand–eye coordination for safe performance.
• Be able to perform repeated physical activities, including lifting (including overhead, up to 50 lbs.), standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, crouching, and crawling.
• Be able to work outdoors, potentially in extreme weather conditions.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively as part of a crew to support daily project objectives.
• Perform manual labor tasks as directed by the Crew Leader, Foreman, or Supervisor.
• Operate construction equipment safely and competently.
• Perform physically demanding construction duties as needed.
• Support installation of underground pipes and conduits, including shovel and trench work, and operate power tools.
