About The Position

Alta Contracting is hiring an Underground Wet Utilities Foreman to oversee field operations and ensure the safe, high-quality delivery of wet utilities projects. The Foreman leads the crew and manages project planning and execution for water, sewer, and storm drainage systems, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgets. The role also involves enforcing OSHA and company safety protocols, inspecting work and implementing corrective actions, managing equipment maintenance and procurement, maintaining daily reports and project documentation, and resolving issues that could disrupt project progress. The position emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and contributing to the company's success.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in underground wet utilities construction.
At least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines and budgets.
Deep understanding of construction best practices and OSHA safety regulations.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Certifications in Construction or Safety Management.
