About The Position

The Utility Custodian performs routine and specialized custodial duties in sensitive areas of a secure facility. The role requires professionalism, discretion, and strict compliance with safety, security, confidentiality, access-control, and information-protection procedures. Duties include maintaining offices, conference rooms, restrooms, corridors, and common areas; responding to scheduled and unscheduled cleaning needs; maintaining supplies; and supporting emergency procedures as directed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Active Top Secret SCI with CI Poly security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Two to four years of industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, and maintain offices, conference rooms, restrooms, corridors, and common areas within a secure facility.
Handle waste disposal, recycling, and shredding in accordance with information security and protection procedures.
Safely operate custodial equipment and use approved cleaning agents in compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
Respond to scheduled and unscheduled cleaning requests, including spill response and special event support.
Maintain custodial supply inventory and report shortages or equipment issues.
Follow access-control, badge, escort, and compartmentalization requirements at all times.
Immediately report security concerns, safety hazards, or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
Support emergency procedures and continuity-of-operations activities as directed.
Maintain professionalism and discretion around sensitive personnel, materials, and spaces.
