About The Position

The Utility Custodian performs routine and specialized janitorial duties in sensitive areas of a secure facility. The role requires professionalism, discretion, and strict adherence to security, safety, and confidentiality requirements. Duties include maintaining offices and shared spaces, responding to cleaning needs, managing custodial supplies, and supporting emergency procedures. An active Top Secret SCI clearance with CI Poly is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Top Secret SCI clearance with CI Poly.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• Two to four years of industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain offices, conference rooms, restrooms, corridors, and common areas within a secure facility.
• Handle waste disposal, recycling, and shredding in accordance with information security and protection procedures.
• Safely operate custodial equipment and use approved cleaning agents in compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Respond to scheduled and unscheduled cleaning requests, including spill response and special event support.
• Maintain custodial supply inventory and report shortages or equipment issues.
• Follow access control, badge, escort, and compartmentalization requirements at all times.
• Immediately report security concerns, safety hazards, or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency procedures and continuity-of-operations activities as directed.
• Maintain professionalism and discretion around sensitive personnel, materials, and spaces.
