About The Position

The Utility Custodian performs routine and specialized custodial duties in a secure facility. The role requires professionalism, discretion, and strict compliance with safety, security, confidentiality, access-control, and information-protection requirements. The position includes cleaning and maintaining facility spaces, responding to cleaning requests, managing supplies, and supporting emergency procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Active Top Secret SCI with CI Poly security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Two to four years of industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain offices, conference rooms, restrooms, corridors, and common areas within a secure facility.
• Handle waste disposal, recycling, and shredding in accordance with information-control security and information-protection procedures.
• Safely operate custodial equipment and use approved cleaning agents in compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Respond to scheduled and unscheduled cleaning requests, including spill response and special-event support.
• Maintain custodial supply inventory and report shortages or equipment issues.
• Follow access-control, badge, escort, and compartmentalization requirements.
• Immediately report security concerns, safety hazards, or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency procedures and continuity-of-operations activities as directed.
• Maintain professionalism and discretion around sensitive personnel, materials, and spaces.
