About The Position

As a Utility Team Member, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment and support smooth kitchen operations. The role combines bussing and dishwashing responsibilities, including cleaning dining and kitchen areas, maintaining service stations and bathrooms, sanitizing food-service items, and assisting with prep or line duties when requested.

Requirements

• Food Handlers Certification.
• Ability to stand for several hours.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop the dining room, bathrooms, and back of house as needed, and promptly clean spills.
• Pre-bus tables and keep dining areas tidy.
• Clean windows, walkways, and restaurant entrances and exits; pick up parking-lot trash; and power wash outside areas as assigned.
• Clean and stock beverage stations, highchairs, and trash cans, and restock service areas.
• Clean bathrooms before opening and monitor their cleanliness during the day.
• Assist customers, follow cleaning lists, and complete additional cleaning duties assigned by management.
• Take out front-of-house trash and set up sanitizer buckets at trash stations.
• Regularly clean table bases and chair legs.
• Clean and sanitize items used for food preparation and food service.
• Maintain the three-compartment sink with proper chemical dilution and keep dishwashing areas clean.
• Organize pots, pans, and products received during the shift, and maintain walk-in organization.
• Help with prep or line duties when asked by management.
• Prioritize cleaning commonly used dishes, such as bowls and trays, to support kitchen operations.
• Unload and put away orders, and promptly empty back-of-house trash.
