About The Position

As a Utility Team Member, you help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment and keep kitchen operations running smoothly. The position combines busser and dishwasher duties, including cleaning and stocking restaurant areas, sanitizing food-preparation and service items, organizing supplies, and assisting with prep or line duties when requested by management.

Requirements

• Food Handlers Certification.
• Must be able to stand for several hours.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop the dining room, bathrooms, and back of house as needed.
• Promptly clean spills and pre-bus tables to keep the dining area tidy and safe.
• Clean windows, walkways, entrances, and exits, and pick up parking-lot trash.
• Clean and stock beverage stations, highchairs, trash cans, and service areas.
• Clean bathrooms before opening and monitor their cleanliness throughout the day.
• Assist customers as needed and follow cleaning lists and additional cleaning instructions from management.
• Take out front-of-house trash, power wash outside areas according to daily cleaning lists, and set up sanitizer buckets at trash stations.
• Regularly clean table bases and chair legs.
• Clean and sanitize items used for food preparation and food service.
• Maintain the three-compartment sink with proper chemical dilution and keep dishwashing areas clean.
• Organize pots, pans, and products received during the shift, and maintain walk-in organization.
• Help with prep or line duties when asked by management.
• Prioritize cleaning commonly used dishes, such as bowls and trays, to support kitchen operations.
• Unload and put away orders and promptly empty back-of-house trash.
