About The Position

As a Utility Team Member, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment and support smooth kitchen operations. The position combines busser and dishwasher duties, including cleaning dining and service areas, maintaining sanitation, organizing kitchen items, and assisting with preparation or line duties when requested.

Requirements

• Food Handlers Certification.
• Ability to stand for several hours.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop the dining room, bathrooms, and back of house as needed; promptly clean spills.
• Pre-bus tables and clean windows, walkways, entrances, and exits.
• Pick up parking-lot trash and clean and stock beverage stations, highchairs, and trash cans.
• Restock service areas, clean bathrooms before opening, and monitor their cleanliness throughout the day.
• Assist customers, follow cleaning lists, and complete additional cleaning duties assigned by management.
• Take out front-of-house trash, power wash outside areas according to daily cleaning lists, and set up sanitizer buckets at trash stations.
• Regularly clean table bases and chair legs.
• Clean and sanitize items used for food preparation and food service.
• Maintain the three-compartment sink with proper chemical dilution and keep dishwashing areas clean.
• Organize pots, pans, and products received during the shift, and maintain walk-in organization.
• Help with prep or line duties when asked by management.
• Prioritize cleaning commonly used dishes, such as bowls and trays, to support kitchen operations.
• Unload and put away orders and promptly empty back-of-house trash.
