About The Position

As a Utility Team Member, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests, keep restaurant areas clean, and support smooth kitchen operations. The position combines bussing and dishwashing duties, with additional prep or line work as requested by management.

Requirements

• Food Handler’s Certification.
• Ability to stand for several hours.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop the dining room, bathrooms, and back of house as needed.
• Clean spills promptly to maintain a safe environment.
• Pre-bus tables when appropriate.
• Clean restaurant windows, walkways, entrances, and exits.
• Pick up parking-lot trash and keep the exterior welcoming.
• Clean and stock beverage stations, highchairs, and trash cans.
• Restock service areas as necessary.
• Clean bathrooms before opening and monitor their cleanliness throughout the day.
• Assist customers as needed, follow cleaning lists, and perform additional cleaning duties assigned by management.
• Take out front-of-house trash and power wash outside areas according to managers’ daily cleaning lists.
• Set up sanitizer buckets at trash stations and regularly clean table bases and chair legs.
• Clean and sanitize items used for food preparation and service.
• Maintain the three-compartment sink with proper chemical dilution and keep dishwashing areas clean.
• Organize pots, pans, and products received during the shift, and maintain walk-in organization.
• Help with prep or line duties when asked by management.
• Prioritize cleaning commonly used dishes, such as bowls and trays, to support kitchen operations.
• Unload and put away orders and promptly empty back-of-house trash.
