About The Position

As a Utility Team Member, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests, keep all areas of the restaurant in good condition, and support smooth kitchen operations. The role includes busser and dishwasher duties, with additional preparation or line work as directed by management.

Requirements

• Food Handlers Certification.
• Must be able to stand for several hours.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop the dining room, bathrooms, and back of house as needed.
• Clean up spills promptly to maintain a safe environment.
• Pre-bus tables as appropriate.
• Clean windows, walkways, and restaurant entrances and exits.
• Pick up trash in the parking lot.
• Clean and stock beverage stations, highchairs, and trash cans.
• Restock service areas as needed.
• Clean bathrooms before opening and monitor their cleanliness throughout the day.
• Assist customers as needed, follow cleaning lists, and perform additional cleaning duties assigned by management.
• Take out front-of-house trash and power wash outside areas according to the manager’s daily cleaning lists.
• Set up sanitizer buckets at trash stations.
• Clean table bases and chair legs regularly.
• Clean and sanitize items used for food preparation and food service.
• Maintain the three-compartment sink with proper chemical dilution and keep dishwashing areas clean.
• Organize pots, pans, and products received during the shift; maintain walk-in organization.
• Help with prep or line duties when asked by management.
• Prioritize cleaning commonly used dishes, such as bowls and trays, to support kitchen operations.
• Unload and put away orders and promptly empty back-of-house trash.
