About The Position

As a Utility Team Member, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment and keep the kitchen running smoothly. The role includes bussing and cleaning duties throughout the dining room, bathrooms, back of house, and exterior, as well as dishwashing, sanitizing, organizing, and assisting with food preparation or line duties when requested.

Requirements

• Food Handlers Certification.
• Ability to stand for several hours.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop the dining room, bathrooms, and back of house as needed.
• Clean spills promptly to maintain a safe environment.
• Pre-bus tables when appropriate.
• Clean windows, walkways, and restaurant entrances and exits.
• Pick up parking-lot trash.
• Clean and stock beverage stations, highchairs, and trash cans.
• Restock service areas as needed.
• Clean bathrooms before opening and monitor their cleanliness throughout the day.
• Assist customers as needed and follow cleaning lists, performing additional cleaning duties assigned by management.
• Take out front-of-house trash and power wash outside areas according to the manager’s daily cleaning lists.
• Set up sanitizer buckets at trash stations.
• Clean table bases and chair legs regularly.
• Clean and sanitize items used for food preparation and food service.
• Maintain the three-compartment sink with proper chemical dilution and keep dishwashing areas clean.
• Organize pots, pans, and products received during the shift, and maintain walk-in organization.
• Help with prep or line duties when requested by management.
• Prioritize cleaning commonly used dishes, such as bowls and trays, to support kitchen operations.
• Unload and put away orders, and promptly empty back-of-house trash.
