About The Position

Brock & Company is hiring a full-time Utility Associate for a private school. The role maintains a clean, organized, and safe kitchen and dining room while supporting food-service operations. Duties include washing and sanitizing equipment and service ware, receiving and distributing deliveries, removing trash, and maintaining floors. The associate is expected to follow client and company COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation protocols and applicable health, safety, and food-handling regulations, while providing courteous, helpful, and friendly customer service. The position requires standing for extended periods and lifting or moving food, food containers, and other items from floor level to no higher than the associate’s own height. The stated pay rate is $17.25.

Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift and move food, food containers, and other non-food items from floor level to no higher than one’s own height.
Follow applicable health, safety, and food-handling regulations and workplace sanitation protocols.

Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and maintain food-production equipment and service ware according to supervisor direction and the cleaning schedule.
Remove trash and waste as directed by the supervisor and take it to the designated location.
Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with supervisor instructions and applicable health, safety, and food-handling regulations.
Receive, unpack, unwrap, rotate, and store deliveries in appropriate refrigerators, freezers, and storerooms according to supervisor instructions.
Provide exceptional customer service in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner.
Follow client and company protocols for COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation.
