About The Position

Findlay Volvo is seeking an experienced, results-driven Used Car Manager/Director to lead and grow the pre-owned operation at its luxury dealership. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for acquiring the right inventory, managing vehicle turn and gross profit, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on dealership performance in a professional, customer-focused environment.

Requirements

Proven success as a Used Car Manager in a volume franchised dealership.
Strong track record of profitable used-vehicle operations.
Exceptional appraisal, acquisition, pricing, and inventory-management skills.
Ability to develop people and build an accountable, performance-driven culture.
Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of departmental goals and KPIs.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a disciplined vehicle-purchase strategy using trade-ins, the Volvo 360 off-lease program, online auctions, and the Service to Sales service-drive trade-up program.
Apply a market-data-based online pricing strategy using v-Auto and other industry tools to make sound pricing decisions and maximize sales velocity.
Maintain optimal inventory levels, monitor inventory aging, and maximize turn rate.
Drive used-vehicle sales, front-end gross, total departmental profitability, and overall inventory return on investment.
Develop employees and build an accountable, performance-driven culture.
