About The Position

MileOne Autogroup is hiring a Used Car Buyer for Heritage Honda Parkville. We are seeking an experienced automotive professional with strong vehicle appraisal, inventory acquisition, and customer prospecting skills to help expand our pre-owned inventory operation in the Baltimore market. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in used car acquisition, vehicle appraisal, automotive sales, inventory management, trade evaluations, pre-owned vehicle sourcing, dealer trade operations, and automotive CRM systems.

Requirements

  • Automotive sales or automotive buying experience required.
  • Used car, pre-owned inventory, or appraisal experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of current used vehicle market conditions.
  • Experience with vehicle valuation tools and automotive CRM platforms.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase quality pre-owned vehicles from private sellers, service drive customers, internet leads, dealer trades, auctions, and equity mining opportunities.
  • Appraise used vehicles accurately using current automotive market data.
  • Purchase vehicles from multiple acquisition channels.
  • Conduct trade evaluations and attend daily trade walks.
  • Monitor local and regional used vehicle market trends.
  • Identify high-demand inventory opportunities.
  • Contact current vehicle owners regarding vehicle purchase opportunities.
  • Schedule appraisal appointments with prospective sellers.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up communication with leads and prospects.
  • Build long-term customer relationships to generate repeat acquisition opportunities.
  • Support dealership sales staff with vehicle acquisition opportunities.
  • Assist with inventory strategy and pre-owned inventory management.
  • Utilize dealership CRM tools and internet resources effectively.
