About The Position

Lovering Volvo Cars Nashua is seeking an experienced Used Car Automotive Technician to join their growing team. As one of the largest Volvo Certified Pre-Owned dealers in New England, they have a constant flow of used vehicles needing inspection, servicing, repair, and preparation for sale. The dealership currently has more work than their existing team can handle, offering productive technicians ample opportunity to generate high earnings. The role involves performing inspections, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing maintenance and repairs, reconditioning vehicles, and working on various makes and models. The technician will collaborate with used-car, parts, and service teams to ensure vehicles are ready for sale quickly and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Requirements

Professional automotive technician experience
Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems
Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently and independently
Someone who takes pride in both productivity and quality
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Ability to accurately diagnose vehicles, perform quality repairs, and efficiently get work done

Nice To Haves

Volvo or European experience is a plus, but NOT required
Used-car experience is great

Responsibilities

Perform used-vehicle and CPO inspections
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and safety-related concerns
Complete maintenance and repairs efficiently and accurately
Recondition used vehicles to quality and safety standards
Work on Volvo vehicles as well as a variety of other makes and models
Identify needed repairs and communicate findings clearly
Work closely with used-car, parts, and service teams to get vehicles frontline-ready quickly
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workspace
