About The Position

Ricart Automotive is hiring a Used Car Automotive Technician/Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles. The role includes completing multi-point inspections (MPIs), evaluating customer-reported noise or vibration concerns during test drives, making repairs based on identified issues and approved estimates, and confirming repairs with post-repair test drives. Technicians document repair work and additional needs, stay current with manufacturer information, recalls, and training, and return vehicles clean and secured to their proper locations. The position offers flat-rate compensation with annual earning potential of up to $180,000 based on skills and efficiency, weekly pay, and production bonuses. Requirements

Valid driver’s license with fewer than 6 points and no major violations.
1 to 3 years of experience as a service technician.
Ability to stand for long periods and work in varying temperatures and noise levels.

Responsibilities

Complete multi-point inspections for service advisors, including estimates and explanations.
Test drive vehicles with customers to evaluate noise or vibration concerns.
Diagnose and repair vehicles based on identified issues and approved estimates.
Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure concerns have been resolved.
Identify and document any additional work needed after inspection or test drive.
Accurately complete all required documentation for each repair.
Stay up to date on manufacturer information, recalls, and training.
Return vehicles to their proper locations, ensuring they are clean and secured.
