About The Position

Ricart Automotive is hiring a used-car automotive technician/mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles. The role includes completing multi-point inspections, explaining findings and estimates, working with customers to evaluate vehicle concerns, and confirming repairs through post-repair test drives. Technicians must document repairs and additional work accurately and stay current on manufacturer information, recalls, and training. The position offers flat-rate compensation with annual earning potential of up to $180,000 based on skills and efficiency, weekly pay, and production bonuses. Requirements

Valid driver’s license with fewer than 6 points and no major violations.
1 to 3 years of experience as a service technician.
Ability to stand for long periods and work in varying temperatures and noise levels.

Responsibilities

Complete multi-point inspections for service advisors, including estimates and explanations.
Test drive vehicles with customers to evaluate noise or vibration concerns.
Diagnose and repair vehicles based on identified issues and approved estimates.
Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure concerns have been resolved.
Identify and document any additional work needed after inspection or test drive.
Accurately complete all required documentation for each repair.
Stay up to date on manufacturer information, recalls, and training.
Return vehicles to their proper locations, ensuring they are clean and secured.
