Urgent Care Physician - Greenville, NC
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Urgent Care Physician in Greenville, North Carolina. Physicians provide bedside wound care in post-acute settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. The mobile practice involves visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius, making 2–3 facility visits and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and document care in real time using a proprietary wound-specific electronic medical record. The position offers full-time work, generally 4–5 weekdays per week, or part-time work for at least 3 days per week. Full-time hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are no night, on-call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The role is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state of practice.
- Commit to a minimum of 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
