Expanding practice seeks an Urgent Care Family Nurse Practitioner to work in Worcester, Massachusetts! Requirements
- Master's level Nursing Practice Degree with Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
- FNP Board Certification
- Active, unrestricted FNP license in Massachusetts
- MCSR and DEA
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care for patients with acute medical problems or acute exacerbations of chronic illness
- Examine patients, formulate diagnostic plans, order and interpret diagnostic testing, and implement treatment
- Provide acute care across the entire lifespan, including infants and pregnant patients
- Determine need for consultation and coordinate with specialists as needed
- Prescribe and assess effectiveness of medications and treatment regimens
- Promote continuity of care with the primary care team and facilitate appropriate follow-up
- Maintain EHR documentation within 48 hours
