Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Universal Banker to join our Retail team. This position will report directly to SVP Retail Operations. In this role, you will help deepen customer relationships, attract additional customers and directly service customers with their consumer banking needs. This position is responsible for opening new deposits, offering and promoting additional products to customers and prospects, assisting customers with services and supporting the overall sales efforts of the bank. This position will also be responsible for assisting customers with consumer loan needs. You will be at the forefront of our efforts to support local businesses and stimulate economic growth in the communities we serve.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years teller experience required.
• Must be able to make accurate mathematical calculations and carry out detailed written and oral directions.
• Must be able to properly handle confidential materials and information.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing customer needs.
• Proficiency in banking software and digital platforms.
• Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• College degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is preferred.
• Consumer lending experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with inquiries, account management, and financial transactions.
• Processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers.
• Helping customers open new accounts, explaining banking products, and cross-selling services.
• Balancing cash drawers and ensuring transaction accuracy.
• Supporting daily banking functions, preparing reports, and maintaining compliance with regulations. Identify and report suspicious activity.
