About The Position
Avalon Care Center Bellingham is hiring a full-time Unit Manager (LPN) to lead and support its nursing team at a CMS 5-Star Rated facility in Bellingham, Washington. The role supports clinical excellence, resident-centered care, positive outcomes, and a positive, productive work environment. The position offers $44.50ā$49.05 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
Requirements
- Current Washington LPN license or NLC eligibility.
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience.
- Leadership experience or strong leadership potential.
- Knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care regulations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the nursing team.
- Help ensure residents receive high-quality care.
- Coordinate care with nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Support staff training and professional development.
