About The Position

The Unit Assistant supports the NICU by helping keep the unit clean and orderly, procuring supplies, and assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs). The position identifies opportunities to improve patient safety and participates in projects and programs designed to reduce errors and improve safety. The Unit Assistant reports to the RN/Assistant Nurse Manager and does not supervise other staff.

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system serving a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No previous experience is required.
• No certification, license, or registry is required.
