About The Position

Ferguson is seeking a Union Warehouse Associate to help prepare and handle customer orders and incoming materials. The role involves safely operating a stand-up forklift, using RF devices and other technology to process orders, and maintaining a clean and safe facility. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. The union pay rate is $24.48 per hour; starting wages may be higher in some locations due to local or state wage requirements. Pre-employment drug and background screening is required. Ferguson provides quality supplies and services across a variety of industries and has approximately 36,000 associates across 1,700 locations. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.

Nice To Haves

0–3 years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
Accurately and promptly receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material.
Clean the workspace while working and help the team keep the facility clean, safe, and accident-free.
Follow safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
