About The Position

Ferguson is hiring a Union Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations. The role involves preparing outbound customer orders, handling incoming materials, operating warehouse equipment, and helping maintain a clean and safe facility. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. The union pay rate is $24.48 per hour. Pre-employment drug and background screening are required.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
High attention to detail.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
Self-starter with the ability to learn systems quickly.
Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Nice To Haves

0–3 years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
Use RF devices and other technology to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material accurately and on time.
Clean the workspace while working and help the team keep the facility clean, safe, and accident-free.
Follow safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE), including a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 pounds.
Focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
