About The Position

Ferguson is seeking a Union Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations, including preparing customer orders and handling incoming materials. The role pays $24 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with overtime as needed. The position requires safe equipment operation, adherence to safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and safe facility. Pre-employment drug and background screening are required.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
High attention to detail.

Self-starter with the ability to learn systems quickly.
Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Nice To Haves

0–5 years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
Use RF devices and other technology to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material accurately and promptly.
Clean the workspace while working and help maintain a clean, safe, and accident-free facility.
Follow all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment, including a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 pounds.
Continue to focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
