About The Position

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Predictive Maintenance Technician to join its Underground Reliability Maintenance team at Cortez. Reporting to the Underground Reliability Maintenance Supervisor, the technician monitors the health of mobile and fixed assets and reports findings to the maintenance team to help identify equipment issues before they result in failures. The role uses predictive maintenance technologies and involves collecting and analyzing equipment data, maintaining technology databases, and distributing condition and follow-up reports. The position requires working a rotating schedule of days and nights.

Requirements

• Proven safety record.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and SAP.
• Ability to schedule and prioritize workload.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule of days and nights.

Nice To Haves

• Previous training and experience applying predictive maintenance technologies and associated software and hardware.
• Five years of mobile maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data on mobile and fixed equipment using predictive maintenance technologies, including vibration analysis, oil analysis, diesel emissions, infrared, and ultrasonic testing.
• Create and maintain databases for each predictive maintenance technology.
• Generate and distribute condition and follow-up reports to all levels of management.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
