  • Establish equipment criticality rankings and maintenance strategies, and support long-term asset management plans for major plant systems.
  • Monitor key work management metrics for preventive maintenance compliance.
  • Manage and coordinate predictive maintenance technologies, including vibration analysis, infrared thermography, oil and lubricant analysis, ultrasonic testing, motor circuit analysis, and online condition monitoring systems.
  • Evaluate predictive maintenance data and generate actionable recommendations.
  • Establish equipment reliability indices and condition-monitoring dashboards, and prioritize corrective actions based on equipment criticality and risk.
  • Lead root cause investigations into equipment failures using structured methodologies such as RCFA, Cause Mapping, Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA, and RCM.
  • Prepare reports documenting investigation findings, corrective actions, and lessons learned; track corrective-action implementation and effectiveness.
  • Provide reliability support for boiler systems; pulverizers and coal feeders; forced draft, induced draft, and primary air fans; sootblower systems; ash handling systems; fuel handling equipment; steam turbines; generator and excitation systems; condensers; feedwater heaters; condensate and boiler feed pumps; cooling towers; circulating water systems; water treatment equipment; compressed air systems; and electrical distribution systems.
  • Analyze equipment operating data using CMMS, historian, and plant monitoring systems.
  • Develop predictive models to identify emerging equipment issues; track reliability KPIs and create monthly performance reports.
  • Support outage planning through equipment condition assessments.
  • Use statistical analysis to identify failure trends and optimize maintenance intervals.
  • Support planning and execution of major maintenance outages.
  • Review preventive maintenance tasks and optimize maintenance frequencies.
  • Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and work practices; assist maintenance planners in prioritizing corrective work.
