Predictive Maintenance Tech

Shaw Industries•Thomson, GA

About The Position

The Predictive Maintenance Tech performs predictive maintenance tasks to monitor and assess the condition of production and infrastructure equipment, helping improve reliability and minimize downtime. The role uses predictive maintenance instruments and software to collect and analyze equipment data, document findings, establish baselines and trends, and generate corrective work orders. The technician follows up on completed work to confirm that findings were resolved and to collect new baseline data. The technician also performs precision lubrication using ultrasound and precision alignment of belts and shafts, and trains maintenance teammates on alignment techniques. The role requires maintaining the integrity and security of technical tools, working safely, communicating findings to management, and completing training and certification in predictive maintenance technologies. Work may include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to keep the program on schedule.
