About The Position

The API Inspector supports facility compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) requirements by helping ensure the mechanical integrity of process equipment and piping systems. The role develops and executes preventive maintenance schedules based on equipment condition, including inspections, testing, and necessary repairs to address potential issues before they become critical failures. The inspector conducts API-authorized inspections of fixed equipment and piping, assesses their condition, and recommends repairs to restore safe operating conditions and meet applicable API, ASME, and recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices (RAGAGEP).
