About The Position

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Predictive Maintenance Technician to join the Reliability Engineering team at its Turquoise Ridge Underground operation. The role focuses on identifying equipment failures and preventing them through predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, data analysis, and actionable recommendations. The successful candidate will work with the TRUG team in a diverse and collaborative environment and report to a Senior Reliability Engineer. A rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of the role.

Nice To Haves

• Previous training and experience applying predictive maintenance technologies and using associated software and hardware.
• Four years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of process equipment.
• Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Review daily oil analysis reports and investigate findings with follow-up samples, filter inspections, and operational checks.
• Audit oil-sampling quality and preventive-maintenance inspection findings.
• Monitor component operating hours and develop failure trends.
• Collect and analyze data on equipment using predictive maintenance technologies.
• Develop and maintain predictive maintenance technology databases.
• Support implementation of new inspection technologies and condition-monitoring tools.
• Support and maintain the equipment health watchlist with documented recommendations.
• Review OEM fault codes and recommend preventive actions.
• Perform physical inspections of high-risk equipment.
• Generate and distribute condition and follow-up reports to all levels of management.
• Support root cause analysis investigations of major equipment failures with the Reliability Maintenance team.
• Identify recurring failures, poor maintenance practices, and component design weaknesses.
• Assist with equipment modifications, prototypes, and reliability upgrades.
• Attend daily maintenance meetings and communicate developing reliability concerns.
• Translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for supervisors and planners.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
