About The Position

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Light Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join the Cortez team. The role supports a safe, clean, and effective work environment by maintaining shop areas, tooling, and service vehicles, conducting pre-shift work inspections, and participating in hazard identification. The position requires the ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days and to perform strenuous physical labor under all weather conditions.

The role is part of a growing, fast-paced team and contributes to safety, environmental, equipment-protection, and production goals. Qualified candidates who meet the required experience and technical criteria may be eligible for relocation assistance for out-of-area hires and/or a sign-on bonus. Requirements

• Two or more years of experience maintaining mobile, farm, trucking, aircraft, military, or support equipment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics is required.
• Ability to work safely and effectively with minimal supervision is required.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people is required.
• Ability to accomplish strenuous physical labor under all weather conditions is required.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds is required.
• A proven safe work record and belief in and value for the courageous leadership model are required.
• Ability to maintain high housekeeping standards is required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to be an initial team member in a growing, fast-paced environment is required.
• A proven safety record and ability to support team safety, environmental, equipment-protection, and production goals are required.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of the role.

Responsibilities
