About The Position

The Predictive Maintenance Technician reports directly to the TPM Supervisor and works as part of the maintenance team alongside experienced technicians and supervisors to manufacture stone wool insulation products safely and efficiently. The technician uses equipment to perform or assist with vibration, laser alignment, ultrasonic, and thermography testing; documents testing and inspection results in reports; and greases and lubricates machinery according to or above manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Excel experience.
• Experience with vibration, thermography, alignment, and ultrasonic testing equipment.
• Oil and lube requirement training.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work the assigned shift schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate maintenance shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform quality inspections and track results in reports to identify patterns.
• Monitor machinery and production-related operations for testing purposes.
• Troubleshoot minor and major equipment issues.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment according to schedule.
• Perform or assist with vibration, laser alignment, ultrasonic, and thermography testing.
• Write reports about testing and inspection processes where applicable.
• Grease and lubricate machinery according to manufacturer specifications or higher.
