Requirements

• Strong knowledge of network and communication repair, installation, and troubleshooting of complex underground systems.
• A dedication to working within a team environment and maintaining a strong safety record is essential.
• Eagerness to learn and apply new skills for repairing and maintaining mining equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Formal education in network and/or 2-way radio (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Handle installation/maintenance duties for underground and surface networks and communications equipment, including fiber optic networks, Cisco Wi-Fi/switches, leaky feeder, 2-way radios, Mobilaris tracking system, back-up battery systems, network cameras as well as CAT Command autonomous loader areas.
• Assist in developing and executing projects to enhance both short- and long-term mine plans.
• Work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, maintaining a focus on safety, communication, and efficiency.
