About The Position

Alutiiq Diversified Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Afognak Native Corporation, is hiring part-time Unarmed Security Officers to support its Airbus Helicopter customer in Columbus, Mississippi. The role responds to calls and incidents, safeguards scenes and assets, conducts personnel, vehicle, and facility checks, and provides crowd control, motorist assistance, and escorts as needed. Officers complete required reports and procedures using electronic security applications and maintain company uniform and grooming standards. The position pays $16.81 per hour and requires the ability to work overnight hours from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.; a flexible schedule is available.

New hires must complete approximately 40 hours of company-provided training, including online coursework and practical demonstrations. Required training includes expandable baton, defensive tactics, CPR, first aid, and incident report writing. Candidates must also pass pre-employment screening and the company’s physical readiness test, and maintain all required company training.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask.
• Familiarity with CCTV, access control, emergency notification systems, and mobile security applications.
• Ability to work overnight shift hours from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• Fluent spoken English and ability to read and comprehend written English.
• Excellent skills using G-Suites applications and ability to learn new computer programs and applications.
• Successfully complete approximately 40 hours of company-provided training, which may be scheduled seven days a week and includes online and practical components.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment physical exam, drug screen, and Physical Readiness Test.
• Successfully complete and pass company-provided training, including expandable baton, defensive tactics, CPR, first aid, and incident report writing.
• Pass a criminal history background investigation/background check.
• Successfully pass the Afognak Diversified Services, Inc. Driver’s Safety Course.
• Clean driving record and current operator’s permit (driver’s license).
• Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
• Able to stand post for up to four hours without a break.
• Good timekeeping skills.
• Maintain and complete all Afognak Diversified Services, Inc. training, whether practical or computer-based.

Responsibilities
