About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a manufacturing, plant, or refinery site in Baytown, Texas. The position pays $14.00 per hour, with weekly pay. The officer will safeguard clients by following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, providing customer service, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. The work may involve standing and walking for extended periods and working outdoors in the elements. Interviews are in person at 3600 Bayway Drive, Baytown, TX 77520; applicants must apply first and will receive an interview invitation after their application is received.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience. The posting also specifies at least one year of security experience, a clean driver's license, comfort using computers or tablets for gate access, and experience with badging and access control. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
