About The Position

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer in Solon, Ohio. The position involves protecting people and property, monitoring for risks and emergencies, responding according to company policies and post orders, preparing reports, and providing professional customer service. Site-specific duties may include lobby and reception security, visitor management, loading dock security, loss prevention, retail security, and monitoring elevators and access control. There are two weekend schedules: Saturday–Sunday, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.; or Friday–Saturday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. Pay is $16.00 per hour. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.
Reliable transportation.
Strong written communication skills for report writing.
Ability to remain professional and use sound judgment in stressful situations.
Strong customer service and de-escalation skills.
Ohio Guard Card.

Nice To Haves

1–3 years of work experience.
Security, law enforcement, military, or customer service background.
College coursework in security-related fields.
Experience in security operations or scheduling.

Responsibilities

Conduct security patrols on foot or by vehicle, golf cart, or bicycle.
Monitor and identify security risks, hazards, and emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and emergencies according to company policies and post orders.
Write detailed incident and activity reports.
Provide customer service and interact professionally with visitors, employees, and clients.
Perform site-specific security functions, including lobby/reception security, visitor management, loading dock security, loss prevention, retail security, and elevator and access control monitoring.
Follow company procedures, attendance requirements, and grooming standards.
Participate in required training and orientation programs.
