About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Officer Property Patrol in Katy, Texas, at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer will help safeguard employees, visitors, contractors, vendors, and property by conducting patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and providing customer service. The role includes day and overnight shifts, with a listed pay rate of $17.26 per hour. Applicants for unarmed roles must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures, site policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter.
- Identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site procedures, and help direct authorized guests and vendors.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders.
- Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs.
- Maintain a professional, visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity and support a welcoming environment.
