About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a food and beverage production location in Tar Heel, North Carolina. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, reliability, integrity, and a people-first approach.

The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The stated pay rate is $13.66 per hour. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and security protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, perimeter access points, and loading or shipping areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access by verifying visitor, contractor, and vehicle authorization according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; contact appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
