About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Warrensburg, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in transportation-related locations. You will monitor and patrol assigned sites, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and help support a welcoming environment. The role is full-time and pays $22.07 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only; the posting does not specify that this role is a driving position.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Monitor and patrol assigned transportation-related locations, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with visitors and staff and support a welcoming environment.
