About The Position

Cascadia Global Security is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Guard in Colorado City, Texas. The role involves access control, foot patrols, deterring theft and vandalism, identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns, and helping provide a safe, professional environment at client facilities. The guard is expected to keep daily administrative documentation concise and complete and maintain uniform and grooming standards. Other related duties may be assigned.

The posting lists pay as $24.00 per hour near the position details and $20.00 per hour in the Pay and Benefits section. Daily pay is available, with payment as soon as the next day. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have basic computer skills and report-writing experience.
• Be available to work shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies.
• Have a high school education or equivalent.
• Hold an active Guard Card.

Nice To Haves

• One year of customer service experience.
• One year of security experience.
• Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control.
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, associates, or public safety.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot to maintain visibility and observe unusual activities at client facilities.
• Deter theft and vandalism.
• Help ensure the client, associates, and facility personnel have a safe and professional work environment.
• Keep daily administrative documentation concise and complete.
• Maintain uniform attire and grooming standards while in uniform.
• Perform other related duties as required.
