About The Position

Cascadia Global Security is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a site in Sunnyvale, Texas. The role pays $17.00 per hour and follows a schedule of Monday and Friday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Daily pay is available as soon as the next day. The officer helps maintain a safe, professional environment at client facilities through access control, foot patrols, observation, and reporting. Uniforms and grooming must meet company standards. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold an active unarmed Texas security guard license (Level 2).
• Have basic computer skills and report-writing experience.
• Be available to work mornings, swing shift, or nights, and weekends and holidays as needed.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies.
• Have a driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• One year of customer service experience (preferred).
• One year of unarmed security experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform access control.
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, associates, or public safety.
• Conduct assigned foot patrols to maintain visibility and observe unusual activities at client facilities.
• Deter theft and vandalism through a visible security presence.
• Help provide the client, associates, and facility personnel with a safe and professional work environment.
• Keep daily administrative documentation concise and complete.
• Maintain uniform attire and grooming standards while in uniform.
