About The Position

Sentry Force Security is seeking dependable, professional, and observant Unarmed Security Officers to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at a professional facility. Officers monitor the premises, provide access control, observe and report unusual activity, and help maintain a safe environment for employees, visitors, and guests.

The ideal candidate is professional, patient, and approachable, and understands the importance of maintaining a calm, respectful, and secure environment.

Requirements

• Valid Virginia DCJS Unarmed Security Officer registration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Good judgment, dependability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous security or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility premises and maintain a visible security presence.
• Control access to the property and monitor visitor entry.
• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols.
• Observe, identify, and report suspicious or unusual activity.
• Respond professionally to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations.
• De-escalate challenging situations using sound judgment and effective communication.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Follow all company policies, post orders, and client procedures.
