About The Position

As an Unarmed Security Officer conducting perimeter patrols at a logistics and distribution location in Minooka, Illinois, you will help safeguard clients and maintain a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine rounds, report observations, and provide customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s people-first culture with integrity and teamwork. This is a full-time position paying $17.50 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Monday through Thursday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as needed.
Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
