About The Position

This entry-level security position protects the physical assets of the properties and helps ensure the safety of guests and employees. The guard performs routine patrols, addresses policy violations, assists guests and employees, and maintains detailed incident reports. The position also involves cooperating with law enforcement and emergency services when needed. This is a safety-sensitive position subject to drug testing. A positive drug test may result in a job offer being rescinded or an active employee being terminated, including when the positive result is for marijuana and the employee has a valid medical marijuana license.

Requirements

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Entry-level position; little to no previous work experience is required.
Obtain a State of Oklahoma Council of Law Enforcement, Education, and Training (CLEET) unarmed security guard license within 180 days of hire.
CPR certification.
Working knowledge of defensive tactics.
Working knowledge of surveillance video systems and how to maintain the chain of evidence.
Ability to pass a security-approved custody control test.
Ability to obtain and maintain licensing from the appropriate gaming authority.
Valid driver’s license that is maintained.

Responsibilities

Protect the properties’ physical assets, guests, and employees, and report safety hazards to leadership.
Prevent guests from bringing prohibited items onto the premises and address violations of policies and procedures.
Patrol facilities, including casinos, smoke shops, and parking lots.
Greet guests and provide directions and assistance.
Provide requested or necessary aid to guests and employees, including CPR and first aid.
Detect suspicious activity or behavior and notify leadership.
Maintain working relationships with local law enforcement agencies and fire and safety departments.
Maintain detailed written incident reports in accordance with policies and procedures.
Review guest identification to ensure compliance with age requirements.
