About The Position

Patrol Solutions is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a utility site in Los Angeles, California. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., for 16 hours per week. The role pays $17.87–$19.50 per hour, depending on certifications, with pay issued twice monthly. Applicants should live in or near Vernon, South Los Angeles, Florence-Graham, or surrounding areas and be able to reliably commute to the site. The officer patrols the assigned site on foot, documents activity and incidents, responds to alarms and incidents, and provides professional service to client staff and visitors. Applicants without a guard card may receive a conditional offer and then complete the required BSIS training and apply for a guard card. Patrol Solutions does not pay for this training and can direct applicants to nearby approved schools. The start date is set once the guard card is issued.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old; must be at least 21 to operate a company vehicle.
Have a valid California BSIS Guard Card, or be willing to obtain one before the first shift.
Have a baton permit, pepper spray certification, and CPR/First Aid certification before the first shift.
For driving positions, have a valid California driver's license and a clean three-year driving record.
Have reliable transportation and be able to reliably commute to and from the site.
Be able to read and write clear reports in English and use a smartphone for daily activity reports.
Be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

Patrol the assigned site on foot.

Respond to alarms and incidents, and contact police or emergency services when needed.
Provide professional, courteous service to client staff and visitors.
